My job hosted our holiday party at Maiz y Agave, and it was absolutely perfect! The ambiance is gorgeous, with three beautifully designed floors and a spacious rooftop that added an extra touch of magic to the night. The food was exceptional--I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For appetizers, we tried the guacamole with kettle corn, which was such a fun and tasty surprise. And the margaritas? Incredible! The classic and passion fruit flavors were my favorites. This spot is perfect for a celebration, and the staff made sure everything was flawless. Highly recommend for any occasion!
Restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. There are different levels which gives a welcoming and unique vibe with intimate settings. The service and drinks were 5 stars but the food was a 3. The flavors were strong overall but authentic. The mole negro was good but the taste of mole was very overpowering. My wife had the Chamorro horneado and that was very good; probably one of the best dishes the table had. They brought us complimentary crickets/ants dish on the house which was a nice surprise, I guess, but not for everyone. All fun and games until legs got stuck in my teeth. Kid friendly with coloring provided and some space for strollers and high chairs. Sadly we couldn't check out the rooftop because it was raining.
Came here on Thursday afternoon with my girlfriends, had an awesome time! It poured on that roof top and we made it thru the rain, somehow lol. Service was great, food was in point and the ambiance and the mariachis made the night extra special
